Neena Pravin in last eight

MUMBAI, JAN. 10. Tamil Nadu's Neena Pravin came on her own to steal the thunder and qualify for the ladies snooker quarterfinals, after winning her third match, in the Goregaon Sports Club National billiards and snooker championship here on Monday.

The others to make the last eight after a hectic robin round matches played on Monday were the National champion, Meenal Thakur, Anuja Thakur, Uma Devi and Vidya Pillai.

The world amateur No. 3, Anuja, who was in some pressure against a local girl, Neeta Sanghvi, managed to scrape through.

In another interesting match Sangeeta Hemchand bt the fancied M. Chitra.
