APPSC recasts Group II selections

HYDERABAD,
JAN. 10.
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has initiated the process of recasting the selections made to various posts under Group II services notified in 1999 in wake of Supreme Court quashing the categorisation of Scheduled Castes.
The commission in a press note issued here on Monday said that certain candidates who were not eligible for interview owing to the SC sub-quota were now eligible.
They were not called for interview earlier as the vacancies were limited category-wise.
The commission would take steps as per rules and judicial directions to complete the selection process.
