Guntur
By Our Staff Reporter
GUNTUR, JAN. 10. The former Health Minister, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, has demanded publication of a white paper on the `Rajiv Palle Baata' programme. At a press conference here on Monday, he termed the `Rajiv Nagara Baata' programme solely aimed at garnering votes in the coming municipal elections and questioned the usefulness of the programme if none of the grievances was addressed realistically. He demanded statistics on the Palle Baata launched three months ago. He also criticised the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, for involving officials as coordinators in Government programmes, which was not different from the Nodal Officer system. While the Congress opposed the appointment of nodal officers, it was following the same method in executing the programme, he said.
