Palkhivala memorial lecture

CHENNAI, JAN. 10. The Palkhivala Foundation, a trust to commemorate the ideals of Nani A. Palkhivala is organising a memorial lecture on January 13, at The Music Academy. Raghuram G. Rajan, Chief Economist, International Monetary Fund, will deliver a lecture on `Mindset to succeed in a Globally Competitive Economy.'

A press release said that the topic would be of interest to economists, industrialists, students of finance and economics as well as the public.

This is the first address by Dr. Rajan at Chennai, since he took over as the Chief Economic Adviser to the IMF. Details: 2852 1181.
