KOCHI, JAN. 10. Six acres of land behind Mangalavanam will be allotted for being used as a parking lot for the Kerala High Court. The decision was taken by a meeting attended by Kerala High Court Judge Cyriac Thomas, The Eco-Tourism Director, K.G. Mohanlal, the Corporation Deputy Mayor, A.V.George, and the High Court Registrar. However, no construction work will be allowed in the land. It was also decided to shift the location of the Railway Goods Yard towards a canal passing through the Mangalavanam. The alignment of the Dr. Salim Ali Road will also be changed.
