VISAKHAPATNAM, JAN. 10. The Gurdwara Sadh Sangat here donated Rs. 1.21 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for extending relief to the tsunami victims. The cheque was handed over to the Collector, Praveen Prakash, on Monday by the president, Sewa Singh Saroya, and other office-bearers of the Gurdwara Sadh Sangat. The Punjabi and Sikh community represented by the Gurdwara was ready to donate clothes and utensils for the victims if necessary, they said. A. C. N. Infotech contributed Rs. 50,000 towards relief. The CEO, Chaman Baid, handed over a cheque for Rs. 25,000 to the Visakhapatnam-II MLA, S. Ranga Raju. An equal amount was also sent to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. At the Spandana programme at the Collectorate on Monday, the City Congress SC Cell secretary, B. Mark, handed over a DD for Rs. 3,000, rice and clothes to the Collector, Praveen Prakash.
