Indian Bank donates Rs. 3 crores
CHENNAI: Indian Bank has donated Rs. 3 crores to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. M. B.N. Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, handed over two cheques of Rs. 2 crores and Rs. 1 crore respectively to the Prime Minister on January 10 representing bank's contribution and the staff members' contribution of a day's salary. The bank has authorised all branches to collect contributions to the relief fund, says a release.
