CHENNAI, JAN. 11. Captain Vikram Kumar contributed 91 (99b, 9x4, 1x6) as the City eleven, which won the toss, made 321 on the opening day of the three-day City-Districts under-22 match for the Nanal Srinivasan Trophy at the SPIC-YMCA ground here on Tuesday. For Districts, left-arm spinner R. Rajesh was the pick, taking six wickets for 103 runs. At close, Districts was 14 for one. Earlier, City openers Vikram and M. Vijay (32) provided a solid platform putting together 81 runs in quick time. The side lost its way in the middle and it took a sixth wicket partnership of 154 runs between G. Venkatraman (64, 131b, 6x4) and Syed Mohammed (86, 123b, 11x4) that enabled the side reach a healthy score.
