Rs. 13.90 crores for purchase of boats, nets

HYDERABAD,
JAN. 11.
The Government on Tuesday released Rs.13.90 crores for procuring new boats/ nets and undertake repair of boats which were affected in the tsunami tidal waves.
According to a press release issued by the Additional Commissioner for Disaster Management, the amount sanctioned in lakhs for each of the nine coastal districts are: Srikakulam (Rs. 19.76 ), Vizianagaram (Rs. 8.03), Visakhapatnam (Rs. 44.55), East Godavari (Rs. 218.73), West Godavari (Rs. 29.80), Krishna (300.61), Guntur (6.84), Prakasam (354.23) and Nellore (407.74).
