THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 11. A four-member Japanese medical team that is currently on a visit to the tsunami-stricken areas in the country has expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Central and State Governments in rehabilitating the victims. At a press conference here today, the team members representing the Tokushukai Medical Corporation said the "reaction time was faster and better" here than in countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia. The team came to the country on January 6 on a personal invitation from the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, Subodh Kant Sahai. The team left for Delhi in the afternoon without visiting the coastal areas of the State as they ran short of time.
