Aranya gets Railways the lead

NEW DELHI, JAN. 11. Aranya Deb Sarkar batted patiently to score 69 (226b, 11x4) to help Railways grab the first innings lead against Uttar Pradesh on the second day of the three-day match in the under-22 C. K. Nayudu Trophy cricket tournament at the Karnail Singh Stadium here on Tuesday.

The scores: U.P. 188 in 80 overs (Anshul Kapoor 78) v Railways 244 in 97.3 overs (Aranya Deb Sarkar 69, S.S. Gangar five for 34).
