KARIMNAGAR, JAN. 11. The Telangana Madiga Dandora (TMD) State Committee has asked the Government to provide 12 per cent reservation to Madigas, who constitute 80 per cent of the Scheduled Castes population, in the Telangana region. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the TMD convener, D. Satish Madiga, wanted the Centre to introduce a bill in parliament on SC categorisation. He said a convention would be organised in Hyderabad on January 30 at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram demanding region-wise reservation to Madigas.
