KOZHIKODE, JAN. 11. The Governor, R.L. Bhatia, will inaugurate the community health centre built by the Perambra block panchayat at Perambra on January 13. The two-storeyed hospital, built at a cost of Rs.130 lakhs, has special wards for the treatment of women and aged persons. The Minister for Health, K.K. Ramachandran, will preside over the programme. P. Sathi Devi, MP and MLAs, T.P. Ramakrishnan and Mathai Chacko, among others will be present at the occasion. The hospital has a bed strength of 120 besides other modern facilities. A sum of Rs.86 lakhs was set apart from the Kerala Development Project for the construction. The allocations from the MP and MLA development funds have also been used for the construction.
