MANIPAL, JAN. 11. B.K. Sowrabha, centre in charge of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Manipal unit, on Tuesday said the vidyalaya, in association with "Gili Gili Magic," a troupe comprising magicians, has organised "Enlightenment through entertainment," a magic show, at KMC Greens here at 6 p.m. on Saturday. She told presspersons here that the magic show will highlight the importance of meditation and spirituality. It will be both entertaining and enlightening, she added. She noted that in the present day, everyone is facing problems. While troubles persist, meditation makes a person strong and resilient. It will equip him or her to deal with troubles. The show will focus on national integration and harmony. It will show the consequences of bad habits among the youth, she said.
Repeat shows
The show will be repeated in different parts of India and abroad, she said. It is open to all. Ms. Saroja said the vidyalaya has 500 branches in the country and a few abroad. It strives to establish universal peace and love through spiritual social service. It preaches meditation and imparts spiritual knowledge to help people lead a meaningful life, she added. The organisation has taken part in various United Nations projects and is affiliated to ECOSOC and the United Nations International Children's Education Fund, she said.
