Hanil Era to expand

MUMBAI: Hanil Era Textiles, the Rs. 120-crore yarn manufacturer, is embarking on a modernisation-cum-expansion programme, which will see the company go in for a weaving capacity at its existing Patalganga facilities. The company plans to set up 72 looms and the expansion is over two phases — phase I for grey fabrics, processing and home furnishings and phase II for terry towels. The programme would entail an investment of Rs. 50 crores with modernisation costing Rs. 15 crores and expansion Rs. 35 crores.
