MTNL asked to withdraw ad

NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has directed Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. (MTNL), Mumbai, to immediately withdraw its Garuda-Fixed Wireless (FW) service advertisement that projects the fixed wireless service as a mobile service. Directives to this effect were issued today and MTNL has been asked to file a compliance report with the Authority by January 19.
