NEW DELHI, JAN. 12. The senior vice-president of the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF), Narinder Batra, has raised questions about the failure of the federation secretary to provide several relevant documents while sending out notice for the annual general body meeting to be held at Hyderabad on January 30. In a letter dated Jan. 10, to the IHF Secretary, K. Jothikumaran, Mr. Batra has pointed out that the former had not enclosed the minutes of the previous meetings, the report of the secretary-general and the accounts for the year 2003-2004, while sending notice for the AGM. Mr. Batra also stated in the letter that there was no document regarding the Premier Hockey League, beginning in Hyderabad on Thursday or about the National hockey championship. "I am giving you sufficient notice to send all the documents of your notice and also documents as required regarding all foreign tours in 2003-2004 as per sub para (c) of para C of S. No. 12 of our constitution,'' Mr. Batra wrote. Mr. Batra has also sought complete details of the telephone expenses paid for by the federation for various telephones used by the president and secretary as well as details about all foreign trips made during 2003-2004 by the two principal office-bearers.
