BJP poser to Ministers from Telangana

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, JAN. 12. The BJP has asked the Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Ministers from Telangana to decide for themselves whether to continue in the Cabinet in the context of the latest controversy over a fresh GO alleged to have been issued by the State Government, overriding the GO 610, in the matter of services in the region.

At a news conference here on Tuesday, the BJP State president, N. Indrasena Reddy, referred to the issue of the GO allegedly by the General Administration Department in gross violation of the spirit of GO 610. The latest GO stipulates 70 per cent of the seats for people from Telangana and the rest earmarked for open contest, while 610 GO has the jobs in the ratio of 80:20.

Surprise expressed

At a news conference here on Tuesday, the BJP State president, N. Indrasena Reddy, wondered how the 16 Ministers of the Congress and TRS from Telangana in the State Cabinet were unaware of the issue of the latest GO by the GAD until they met on Tuesday.
