Accused in Pandya murder case brought to city

HYDERABAD, JAN. 12. Abdul Rawoof, who was arrested in the city by the Gujarat police in connection with the murder case of the former Gujarat Home Minister, Haren Pandya, is being brought here to attend his father's death ceremony.

Rawoof's father, Abul Qader, died on December 2, 2004. Though Rawoof moved the Gujarat special court seeking bail to attend his father's last rites, he was not granted bail.

The court had recently given bail for five days to attend the ceremony.
