CAPE CANAVERAL (FLORIDA), JAN. 13. A NASA spacecraft with a Hollywood film name — Deep Impact — blasted off on Wednesday to smash a hole in a comet and give scientists a glimpse of the frozen primordial ingredients of the solar system.
