NEW DELHI, JAN. 15. Even as pressure was mounted by rival groups within the Haryana unit of the party for a last-minute change in candidates for the coming Assembly elections, the Congress late last night released the first list of candidates for the Bihar polls. And, for the greater part of the day today, the All-India Congress Committee headquarters remained under siege as rival Congress leaders from Haryana got their loyalists to picket Akbar Road. In the first list, the Congress has finalised candidatures for 17 segments going to the polls in the first phase of polls on February 3.
