By Our Staff Reporter

PONDICHERRY, JAN. 15. The Pondicherry Hindu Munnani chief, N. Pazhanivel, has asked the Lt. Governor and the Chief Minister to reconsider their plan to acquire temple land for housing scheme for tsunami-hit villagers.

In a release he said philanthropists donated land to enable temple authorities utilise the proceeds from the land for pujas.
