Police put politicos on alert

By Our Staff Reporter

WARANGAL, JAN. 15. The police have advised public representatives to move `cautiously' in view of the recent naxal violence.

According to sources, ministers and MLAs, who have been touring the district once a week or at their convenience, have been asked to restrict their programmes. They have been asked to keep their movements secret, travel in unofficial or insignificant vehicles and not move without security. Meanwhile, rumours about resignation of sarpanches en masse are making the rounds in the district. However, neither police nor revenue officials have confirmed it.
