TIRUCHI, JAN. 15. The City Traffic Police and the State Transport Corporation have jointly made the following traffic regulations in the city limits from Sunday (10 p.m.) to Monday (5 a.m.) for the people returning after the Pongal holidays: The buses heading towards Salem, Namakkal should proceed to the Central Bus Stand via Uyyakondan Bridge, MGR Statue Roundtana, Mutharaiyar Statue Roundtana, and Williams Road. They should be parked near the Femina Hotel to take passengers and should pass via Vestry School Roundtana. The buses heading for Pudukottai and Karaikudi should be parked near Abirami Hotel for taking the passengers and should proceed via Kalaiarangam, Headpost Office, TVS Toll Gate. The buses moving towards Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Nagapattinam etc., should be parked at the area earmarked for the city buses and should take the State Bank Road, Head Post Office Roundtana Road. All the express transport corporation buses proceeding to Chennai and Kanyakumari should be parked on the first platform of the Central Bus Stand. The omni buses should proceed via Aristo Hotel Junction and would not be allowed to be parked outside the Central Bus Stand.
