NEW DELHI, JAN. 16. Sanaa Bhambri made it to the semifinals of singles and doubles in the $10,000 ITF women's tennis tournament in Dubai. The fifth-seeded Sanaa lost 2-6, 6-2, 2-6 to the third-seeded Sandra Klemenschits of Austria in the semifinals. Sanaa had beaten Galyna Kossyk of Ukraine 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinals. Galyna had accounted for the second-seeded Rushmi Chakravarthi 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-2 in their pre-quarterfinal meeting. In the doubles Sanaa and Rushmi went down 4-6, 3-6 to Kristina Grigorian of Russia and Oxana Lyubtsova of Ukraine. Punam Reddy went down fighting 4-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6 to Andra Savu of Romania in the pre-quarterfinals of the singles.
