NEW DELHI, JAN. 16. Over 500 cyclists are expected to compete in the tenth Hercules National road cycling championship to be held in Pune from Jan.19 to 23. The championship, expected to feature all the member units including Services, Railways, Punjab Police, BSF, BSNL and the All India State Electricity Board, will be flagged off from the Balewadi Sports Complex on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway. Events will be held in the men's and women's sections apart from various age groups for boys and girls. The men will have 30 kilometre individual time trial, 70 kilometre team time trial, 120 kilometre mass start and 30 kilometre criterium. There will also be events for cyclists in the 35 to 45 age group and for the veterans above 50 years of age.
