Fine batting by Negi, Sashi

NEW DELHI, JAN. 16. Fine batting by P.S. Negi and Sashi Bhushan helped Ekta Club to an eight-wicket victory over Hind Club in an Elite `I' division DDCA league cricket match at the Yamuna Sports Complex here.

The scores: Elite-I: Hind CC 152 in 38 overs (Parminder 51 not out, Manoj Tyagi four for 20) lost to Ekta CC 153 for two in 23 overs (P.S. Negi 67 not out, Sashi Bhushan 47 not out).

Super Plate-I: Universal CC 131 in 32.4 overs (Gurpreet Singh four for 15) lost to K.G. Colts 132 for four in 25 overs.

Plate: IRCON 98 in 26.5 overs (Rahul Kirmani four for 28) lost to Malik Sports 99 for seven in 31.5 overs.
