Eve teasing: 34 injured in clash

About 34 persons were injured and six houses were damaged when two groups clashed over eve teasing in Bodikamanwadi village this evening.
Some youths, who had reportedly teased a girl belonging to the village were attacked by a group.
Supporters of the youths retaliated, attacking the relatives and friends of the girl's family with lethal weapons. They also ransacked the houses of the mediators who attempted to restore normalcy.
The injured were treated in a private hospital.
The police said about 10 persons belonging to both the groups have been arrested. Tension prevailed in the village for some time.
