Zidane, Beckham may play in Kolkata

KOLKATA, JAN. 17. International stars including Zinedine Zidane of France and David Beckham of England may be seen in action in the FIFA fraternity match to be played here next month to raise funds for tsunami victims, the West Bengal Sports Minister, Subhas Chakraborty, said today. ``The FIFA fraternity match will be played here by the second week of February,'' Mr. Chakraborty told reporters.

Mr. Chakraborty's announcement came days after the All India Football Federation president, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, said FIFA would organise two exhibition matches in Kolkata and New Delhi. — PTI
