New family cards to be issued at taluk offices

JAN.18.
The new family ration cards will now be distributed at the taluk supply offices till March 31.
The Collector, Satyabrata Sahoo, said that those who applied for new cards last year, and who failed to obtain them from the special centres in the first week of the New Year could obtain the cards from the respective taluk supply offices, on production of the acknowledgement slips.
The district administration has been allotted 1778 tonnes of rice for distribution against the 94,492 rice eligibility cards and 172 tonnes of sugar for distribution against the above rice eligibility cards and the 1156 sugar eligibility cards for the month of January.
