BELLARY, JAN. 18. Four persons, including a women and a boy, were killed and two were injured when they were run over by a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Siddapur village in Sandur taluk on Tuesday. According to the police, the victims were sitting by the side of the road when the accident occurred. The bus, plying between Hospet and Sandur, ran over them as the driver lost control following a technical snag. Two persons died on the spot. The police said that the victims were residents of Hale Nellakudari village in Hagari Bommanahalli taluk. The victims were identified as Katteppa (35), his son Hulgappa (10), Basappa (40) and Lalitamma (40). Pampapathi (50) and his son Mudukappa (25) were injured and have been admitted to VIMS Hospital here. The Sandur police have registered a case.
