MYSORE, JAN. 18. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Mysore division, today launched new routes to extend its operations and provide connectivity between different areas of the city. The new routes will link the industrial suburbs to various locations in the city. The first of the services was flagged off by the Krishnaraja Mohalla MLA, M.K. Somashekar. Route No. 10 will ply between J.P. Nagar and Infosys via Vidyaranyapuram, Chamundipuram, Ashoka Circle, Maharani's College, Railway Station, V.V. Puram, Hebbal, Vijaynagar and Bharat Cancer Hospital. Route No. 59 will ply from the City Bus Stand to Chikkahardanahalli via Suburban Bus Stand, K.R. Hospital, Railway Station, Ramaswamy Circle, Ballal Circle and Jayanagar. Route No. 13 will operate from City Bus Stand to J.P. Nagar via Vidyaranyapuram, St. Mary's Convent School, Chamundipuram, Nanjulmalige and Agrahara. The KSRTC has also strengthened its fleet by adding two additional buses, which will strengthen its operations on Route Nos. 10 and 13. The Divisional Controller of the KSRTC, G.S. Hegde, and other senior personnel of the corporation were present.
