Mainly clear sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 17.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The relative humidity was 47 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 29.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 16.8 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 39 per cent.

The forecast for Wednesday is: the sky will be mainly clear. The minimum temperature will be around 17 degrees Celsius.

Elders Helpline 1090 will offer free legal advice and conciliation through alternative dispute redressal methods between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursdays at its office inside the Police Commissioner's Office, No. 1, Infantry Road. `Jatre'

The Children's Movement for Civic Awareness will hold a "jatre'' on Saturday at the St. Joseph's Indian High School Grounds. A note says 50 civic clubs of the movement will showcase their civic activities and achievements at the "jatre". The theme for this year is ``Active Citizenship". Letter writing

The Department of Posts, Karnataka Circle, will hold its 34th Universal Postal Union Letter Writing Competition for schoolchildren (aged up to 15) on January 30 at the Government Women's Polytechnic, SJP Campus, Seshadri Road on the theme "A letter to my favourite fairytale character".
