Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is only natural for doubts to arise over the intentions of the Tamil Nadu Government in the arrest of the junior Sankaracharya of the Kanchi Mutt, Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi, on the same day the senior Acharya, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi, was granted bail. But whatever the legal course of the case, the fact remains that a temple manager was brutally murdered in broad daylight. This crime clearly points to a serious conspiracy that needs to be unearthed. The law should be allowed to take its course.
