Loan scheme inaugurated

MADURAI, JAN.19. R. Kannan, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, inaugurated a jewel loan scheme to farmers for agricultural purposes at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Bank, Acchampathu near here on Monday.

He instructed the officials to extend the scheme to all parts of the district.

Earlier, he inspected the customer service procedures at the headquarters of the Madurai District Central Cooperative Bank and the activities of all the cooperative societies in the district. Senior officials of the department accompanied him during the inspection.
