Mobile phones stolen from shop
Thieves broke into a shop at Mahboob Mansion in Malakpet and took away 45 mobiles worth Rs.3.5 lakhs in the early hours of today. The shop owner, Sanjay Goel, lodged a complaint with the Chaderghat police.
Businessman robbed of cash
Offenders took away Rs. 51,000 from the scooter dickey of a businessman when he stopped by a shop at Chintalbasthi on Tuesday. A resident of Sardarji Street in Premnagar, P.C. Prasad, along with his wife, earlier went to the HDFC Bank, Lakdikapool branch, and withdrew Rs.50,000.
Policeman's mobile stolen
A police constable, S. Ramaiah's mobile was stolen from his shirt pocket while he was travelling in an APSRTC bus at Habeebnagar on Tuesday. A resident of Goshamahal police quarters, the victim boarded the bus at Nampally.
