COIMBATORE, JAN. 20. St. Joseph's College (Tiruchi) maintained a clean slate in the semifinal league and lifted the PSG Trophy in the 29th State-level inter collegiate ball badminton tournament organised by the PSG College of Arts and Science at its courts here today. In the final league, the winner coasted to a comfortable 29-16, 29-4 win over an off-colour Jamal Mohammed College (Tiruchi) that had to rest content for the second spot with two wins to its credit. Loyola College (Chennai), which lost to Jamal Mohammed 18-29, 17-29 earlier in the day, however pulled off a convincing 29-20, 29-20 win over host PSG College of Arts and Science to finish for the third place.
