Defending champion East Bengal survived a scare by debutant Fransa Sports Club before holding on for a goalless draw in a second round match of the 9th National Football League played at Nehru Stadium here on Thursday. Fransa, after beating Vasco in its first match, now has four points from two matches while East Bengal, which has drawn both its matches, has two points. — PTI
