Big win for Mallareddy College

HYDERABAD, JAN. 20. Good batting by Pavan (73) helped Mallareddy Engineering College, Hyderabad defeat Nishita College of Engineering, Hyderabad by 115 runs in the S.R. Champions trophy inter engineering colleges cricket tournament at Warangal, according to information received here on Thursday.

The scores:

Mallareddy EC, Hyderabad 156 for four (Pavan 73) bt Nishita EC Hyderabad 41.

Nizam Institute of Engg. and Tech., Hyd. 87 for six lost to JBRE College, Hyd. 92 for four (Charan Teja 52 n.o.).

Nirmal EC Mancherial 89 for six lost to Kavitha EC Khammam 90 for six.

SR Engg. College, Warangal 137 for four (Srikanth 43) bt Sri Chaitanya EC, Karimnagar 91 for four (Sridhar 41).

Arora EC, Bhongir 114 for five (Naren 52) bt Sindhura College of Engg. and Tech., Ramagundam 80 for nine.
