BHEL Ranipet wins Ramakrishna Bajaj award
VELLORE: The Boiler Auxiliaries Plant (BAP) of Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd. (BHEL), Ranipet, has won the prestigious Indian Merchants Chambers Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award for 2004 in the manufacturing category, along with Tata Chemicals, Mithapur. BHEL is the first public sector organisation to win the award. The IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award-2004 is aligned to the Malcolm Baldridge Criteria 2003. BHEL, Ranipet was established as part of the 4000 MW expansion of the boiler plant at Tiruchi during 1982, says a release from BHEL, Ranipet.
