Isolated rain likely in coastal T.N.

CHENNAI, JAN. 20. Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. The minimum temperature rose markedly to appreciably at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell appreciably at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region. They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, above normal at a few places over the rest of Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Kerala, the rest of interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably below normal at one or two places over Telangana.

FORECAST (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
