`Wage board soon'

NEW DELHI, JAN. 20 . The Union Labour Minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, today said that the wage board for the newspaper industry would be constituted soon.

The Minister told a delegation of newspaper unions that the Government would fix a timeframe for submission of the report.

According to S.K. Pande, president of the Delhi Union of Journalists, Mr. Rao criticised the practice of wage board members holding hearings at several places. The hearings should be held at one place.
