ISLAMABAD, JAN. 20 . Pakistan has again insisted that its forces were not involved in the firing in the Poonch sector on the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday night. For the second time since the incident, the Directors-General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India talked over phone today. Pakistan claimed that it had found no evidence to suggest that its Army was involved in the firing incident. According to the Director-General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Shaukat Sultan, the Pakistan army had come to this conclusion after a "full investigation". ."Pakistani Director-General of Military Operations talked to his Indian counterpart and rejected the Indian claim of mortar fire. Pakistani DGMO told his Indian counterpart that such allegations create tensions and the two sides agreed that such incidents should be resolved at the local level through flag meetings," Maj. Gen. Sultan said.
