Vijayawada
By Our Staff Reporter
VIJAYAWADA, JAN.20. T. Nagamani, a doctor from the city working at a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, died of cardiac arrest there on Wednesday. She reportedly died in her sleep and the body was found on bed in the morning. Dr. Nagamani's father, Tatineni Janardhana Rao, and brother Ramesh are making frantic attempts to have the body transported from Riyadh to Vijayawada for cremation. The transporting of the body is likely to be delayed because the Government machinery in Riyadh is busy with Haj pilgrims. The Indian Consul-General in Riyadh reportedly expressed helplessness when contacted by family members here. Dr Nagamani was 51 and is survived by a daughter who lived in the United States.
