AIDWA protests against Suryanelli verdict

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 20. The general secretary of the All-India Democratic Women's Association, P.K. Sreemathi, MLA, today urged the State Government to appeal against the High Court verdict on the Suryanelli sex scandal case. In a press release issued here today, she said the observations of the Division Bench had dealt a severe blow to women in general. She said it went against the essence of Supreme Court verdicts in similar cases.
