Letters to the Editor
Sir, Mr. Prasad's political motive was clear from one of the terms of reference of the Banerjee committee of enquiry whether all the kar sevaks on the S-6 coach had reserved tickets. The Election Commission's warning to political parties is an indirect condemnation of communal politicians posing as secularists.
K.G. Acharya,
* * * Sir, How could Godhra have been an accident when media reports quoted many survivors as saying they were attacked by a mob, hurling stones and ignited rags at them? Why did the passengers in the S-6 coach not jump off the train if they were not prevented from doing so?
Hetal Pandya,
