CHENNAI, JAN. 21. Bangalore DFA entered the semifinal beating SBI, Chennai 6-4 via the tie breaker on Friday in the Don Bosco Fr. McFerran Trophy all India football tournament being held at the DBYC Wisdom town here. The teams were locked 2-2 at regulation time. Egged on by a huge holiday crowd, SBI had gone ahead early and even consolidated with a 2-0 lead within 25 minutes, Basheer scoring both the goals in the fifth and 25th minutes. The Bangalore team paid back shortly thereafter with Raju scoring in the 32nd and 71st minutes. In the tie-breaker, Raju, B. Prakash, Aneesh Kumar and C. Prakash scored for the Bangalore team while only Basheer and Senthilnathan could succeed for the Chennai side.
