Mahender wins gold

HYDERABAD, JAN. 21 Mahender Reddy of Andhra Pradesh won the gold in the men's 30kms Criterium race with a total of 12 points in the 10th National road cycling championship being held in Pune on Friday according to information received here.

The results:

Men: 30 kms Criterium: 1. Mahender Reddy (AP) 12 pts; 2. Rakesh Kumar (Raj) 11 pts; 3. Sukhjinder Singh (Rlys) 10 pts.

Boys: under 18 indiv. time trial (18 kms): 1. Rajendra Bishnoi (Raj) 25m 20.0s. 2. Amandeep Singh (Punjab); 3. Prasad Kumar (Mah).

Girls: under-16 indiv. time trial (5 kms):1 . Parvati C. (Kerala) 8m 24.77s; 2. Rudrakshi Ganachar (Kar); 3. N.Priya Devi (Manipur).
