Shooting
HYDERABAD, JAN. 21. It was an encore by Olympian Anjali Bhagwat at the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) shooting range in the University of Hyderabad on Friday. She replicated her women's air rifle first round score of 398 out of 400 in the second, as part of the trials to pick the 2005 national squad and the Indian team for the Commonwealth championships at Melbourne from March 9. Equally consistent was Sanjeev Rajput in the men's free rifle three position, according to Prof. Sunny Thomas, National Chief Coach. The Navy shooter fell a point short of his Thursday mark of 1169, but had bettered A.P. Subbiah's national record of 1162 for a second time.
