Eye camp

COIMBATORE, JAN. 21. Moses Gnanabaranam Eye Hospital will conduct a free eye camp on January 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nataraj Hospital, Madukkarai.

Tsunami relief

The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, here handed over a DD for Rs. 3 lakhs to the Collector, S. Kosalaraman, through the chamber president, A. Sakthivel, towards tsunami relief fund. Rice, biscuits, water, bedsheets and saris valued at Rs. 50,000 were also handed over to the administration. Members of the Sindhi Federation of Coimbatore contributed Rs. 1.85 lakhs and provided relief materials worth Rs. 3.75 lakhs.
